What is Psychotherapy?
Beginning therapy can feel daunting, and taking the first step is not easy. My aim is to make the start of your journey feel as comfortable and supportive as possible. I place great importance on creating a safe, empathic, and non-judgemental space, where you feel able to explore whatever challenges or experiences you may be facing.
Psychotherapy, in particular existential psychotherapy is about meeting you where you are today. While I am interested in your history, story, and the experiences that have led you to this point, my initial focus is often on the present moment; how you experience yourself, others, and the world around you today. By starting here I hope we can shed light on what feels meaningful, difficult, uncertain or unfulfilled today.
