I’m Amy.
I am a qualified Psychotherapist with a Postgraduate Diploma in Psychotherapy & Counselling from Regent’s University where I am also completing a Masters in Existential Psychotherapy.
I work with clients in South East London and online, and have vast experience working with a variety of presenting issues, including but not limited to; anxiety, depression, relationship, intimacy and family difficulties, peri and menopausal struggles, post-natal depression, loss, grief and trauma.
My training in both integrative theory and practice alongside existential philosophy allows me to draw from a broad range of research and therapeutic approaches. These include attachment theory, psychodynamic therapy and humanistic philosophy while maintaining a strong focus on understanding your experience in the present moment. Together, this can us to help bring greater insight into deeper patterns of behaviour, relationships, and ways of being.
Prior to my training, I worked for almost two decades in corporate buying, where I developed a great understanding of the complexities in human behaviour and relationships within a commercial and professional context.
